In 1861, due to the increased demand for officers, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point graduated two classes. the senior class was graduated in May, and in June of 1861 the class of 1862 was graduated, one year ahead of time.

Here is your chance to own an exact reproduction of the class rings for both of these classes.

Following a 30-year tradition, the rings were designed by the graduates themselves. These new officers wore the rings when they left West Point, to fight for either the North or South. It is interesting to note that in 1861, these rings were worn on the pinky finger and used as a seal for documents. Please consider this when ordering your size.

Available in Sterling Silver or 10K Gold. Please specify your ring size when ordering
